Earth Week Action: Tell the USDA to test food for glyphosate

The chemicals in the weedkiller Roundup have been linked to cancer and other serious health risks. But just before the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) was set to begin testing foods for glyphosate, the main ingredient in Roundup, those plans were cancelled and agency officials now say foods will not be tested for glyphosate this year.

The USDA is tasked with the job of protecting our health and the safety of our food -- and we simply cannot know whether our food is safe without testing for glyphosate, the most widely-used herbicide in U.S. history.

This Earth Week, join us and call on the USDA to move forward with the tests of glyphosate as originally planned.
