Please tell the Arizona Corporation Commission: No to unfair utility charges.
Arizona's largest utility companies, including APS, TEP and UNS Electric are trying to dramatically change how they charge residential customers and small businesses for electricity. The plan they are proposing means more money for them, less money for consumers and small businesses.
The utilities are proposing an increase in the basic service charge – a mandatory fee for consumers. In addition, a new mandatory "demand charge" would charge consumers for the maximum amount of energy used at any time during the month. No other utility company in the country requires its residential customers to pay a "demand charge".
Please join with other Arizonans and send a message to the Arizona Corporation Commission: Vote no on increased utility charges.
